A drawing of a creature known as a slingafling. It strongly resembles something between a sloth and a gibbon, however it has disproportionately large arms and huge claws, but its legs are almost nonexistent, replaced with two vestigial claws. It also has a long, prehensile tail. Its fur is matted and covered in moss and other organic material and its head is covered in a bony, pinecone-like structure that has a small gap in the middle where more plant matter is growing.

The slingafling is a creature that spends 80% of its life "hanging about" as a stationary lump of organic matter and the other 20% shooting through the trees at a frightening speed.
