Women with children earn less, men with children earn more. This ‘motherhood penalty’ is one of the key reasons the gender pay gap still exists.
I worked with cross-party European colleagues on a report full of concrete recommendations to close the gap. Today, it got adopted today with a majority.

Timmermans en Kaag (n.a.v. #buitenhof). Twee politici die premier hadden kunnen worden. Die ik in deze tijd van geopolitieke chaos en dreiging zou vertrouwen als premier, met hun internationale ervaring, connecties, inzicht. Allebei weggepest door Nederland.
Ik hoor in NOS Journaal dat de (reële!) bezwaren die boeren hebben tegen de Mercosur deal worden “opgelost” door ze extra subsidie te geven. Dat is toch de waanzin ten top! Nóg meer Europese subsidie🤦🏻♀️Geef die boeren nou eens de kans om hun eigen broek op te houden, net als elke ondernemer!
