I had such a different experience when I discovered my queerness because I was be around older queer people to be more informed of the community. They were in the streets fighting for our rights and saw their friends die left and right. it made me appreciate life and I never had ageist issues.

Just in my general experience, people have a very visual reaction when I informed them of my age, queer people even more so because they're generally the most ageist group of people I’ve ever met in my entire life.
