Hey Tim. Genre, style, era, etc. makes no difference to me ..... a good tune is a good tune PERIOD ! I'll contact you later. I just joined Hey.Cafe, a Canadian run site, it's still very small but may be worth the effort. Details later.

Cool ! I just seen this now. I'll check it out this eveningπ
All good points at face value that you make. He did clearly state that Canada won't be participating with combat. I go back to his statement, " we'll only get involved if it makes sense ". In other words, he knows the war is wrong. He did call it illegal, if I'm correct. Anyway, all the best βοΈ
Yes, that's the way it was interpreted and that's on Carney, I won't deny that. He should have used his clarification instead. But I'm glad he clarified his original remarks instead of doubling down. By the way, thanks for responding, that's unheard of for a leader of a political party to do that πβοΈ
I have to say though, Carney needs to figure out how to explain things in a more direct simple way so the average person understands him better.
That's exactly what I said. That was always Canada's / Nato's position. Carney took a measured / strategic approach. That's what he does with everything. He's walking a tightrope. He's handling it the way he should. He also clearly said that we won't be participating. He's simply not poking the bear
What ? He did not say he supported the war. He took a measured approach to it like he does with everything. His stance is against Iran's nuclear ambitions and support for terrorism which was always Canada's policy.
That influence has actually been a part of Canadian society too, not just with some of our politicians, not near as widespread as it is in the USA but still a concern that needs to be dealt with. That American influence is giving it a platform so they're LOUD now. We need to deal with that.
I missed it. What happened ?
You're desperate. It's best if you find a different constructive way to win support.
Oh I see. That's understandable. The way I understand it was all volunteer so I can see your reasoning. Check your messenger in a few minutes.
I'm starting to feel bad and a bit guilty with the hatred I've developed for that country and society. But you know what, I knew something was up in the early 80s with developments down there, where things were pointing to with their society. I remember saying to myself, this isn't going to end well
What the f#ck ????
What gets me is when some say " well, I didn't vote for him ", Typical american ... me me me. It doesn't matter if those people didn't vote for him, their society as whole voted him in. So amazing that a large segment is oblivious to the situation. As long as I'm doing fine, who cares ! ... me me me
For sure. Sometimes I wonder if Trump is just a figure head for the people who are actually in control. Then of course we have the american society, that's the real reason why those people are in power. I've been saying since day 1, their society is the root of the problem. No fixing that though.
I've been on this earth for a long while now, I never ever experienced something like this before. Many dictators and regimes have come and gone but Trump and his administration is beyond surreal, a different ball game. Boggles my mind, especially when he can be so easily stopped. America is so dumb
Not as bad as this one from the same presser ... cdn.bsky.app/img/feed_thu...
What Trump is saying is the clusterfuck not MSM. MSM is just reporting what trump is saying.
It was just announced on CNN that Trump said the war is now complete. If so I hate Trump and the Amercian administration more than ever, even if that's possible. All those school children killed, oil infrastructure destroyed poisoning the Iranian people ... for what ? Beyond words.
I always recommend taking a guitar to a luthier. Those people can see and find things that most guitar techs can't. The great thing about luthiers is that they can find minor things that can make all the difference in the world. It will cost a few more bucks but well worth it.
I always take my purchases to our local luthier no matter what I buy. The frets were fine, he just had to slightly level a couple of them. The frets ends are good, and no buzzing. He also worked on the nut a little, most guitars need a little nut work. He was impressed, just minor corrections needed
Trump and the American military can be stopped in it's tracks with a snap of a thumb if America's so called allies are willing. But it will never happen.

My workhorse is my 50th Anniversary Limited Edition Strat but I purchased this Epiphone Gibson inspired 1960 Special DC around 6 weeks ago .... holy crap .... what a great guitar it is. I own several top brand guitars and this fits in nicely. It's been my workhorse since I purchased it.
Me too. Without double smoked sausage my life would be in ruin.
Many complain about MSM that does have it's issues but social media journalism and ' BREAKING ' is a lot worse.
An electric guitar is way more cool than a clarinet πππ€
My very first guitar was a cheap Sears acoustic that I ordered through the catalog, $19.99 .... I would give anything to have that guitar again, for sentimental reasons. Keep your Tele !
