conversely though the kris kristofferson music is quite bad and lame and the barbra music is mostly kinda good in a showtuney sort of way
realistically barbra would probably be a way better fit if they had kept it set in Hollywood like the first two versions but in this like "rock n roll, maaaan" version she's a perplexing choice
but really the main problem is that frank pierson is REALLY not george cukor
