Back from a wonderful 18 days in Newfoundland. We visited so many beautiful places and saw so many wonderful things. But the people themselves, they were the best part of it. So warm and welcoming and kind. I wish I could have bottled it and kept it close every time I read the news.

A few days ago we had some thick frost and the nuthatches were excited!
This red-breasted nuthatch was just about to check on the spruce seeds in this cone!

I have to say, I’m rather excited for the longer days and warmer weather that spring brings. Oh, and the bluebells!
