I love the custom design for the metail coins, with Queen Victoria, and symbols from the game on the flip side! I've seen some nice iron clays, but if there's custom coins I'll go for those!

Casual weekend boardgamer. Dog lover. I'm just here for fun! I don't auto-follow. BGG: https://boardgamegeek.com/profile/TeaNGames My #boardgame YouTube is also just for fun. Cozy. Chill. https://youtube.com/@teaNgames

Metal coins are so satisfying to handle! For me, there's no other type of game component that's as great an upgrade as metal coinsπͺπ°
Pile of gold and silver colored coins with two different images of Queen Victoria on the front side. Backside had various symbols from the game and coin values (though it seems fairly obvious that larger golden coins would be a higher value than smaller silver colored ones). There's only 2 coin values in the game: 100 & 500. The coins are thick and hefty.
Final layout for me. I went nuts with blue service tiles (2 of the courtship phases scored blue), and I bought and used/flipped 2 purple tiles to the monument side (Hermitage & Lionheart Suite). At the very bottom there's a glimpse of my objective and VP cards. Did pretty well on them too!
Got the metal coin upgrade for Obsession, because I love metal coins in games...& I've got everything elseπ€£ Had a pretty good game today! #boardgames
Because: spring
I like the artwork! There's even a dog!πΆ π
...and we did not lose our marbles playing it!π€£
Botton of pic, in the V of the table corner; the marble dispenser. To the left, my energy ring for storing marbles, my dashboard with the starting card under File (ditto for right side of pic, other player). Center: the card market of Gizmos, levels 1-3 and some victory point tokens.
Setup for first on-the-table play of Gizmos (a friend had taught it to me on BGA). Nifty engine builder with very satisfying action-chaining! Also: marbles!

D. The Big Bad Wolf, but C is also a good answer.
Take care of yourself. Hope you get better soon! π«
The use of $ is an especially good substitution since micro$slop is largely about chasing AI money...
Is it good? What did you think?
I think we're in a time anomaly...
....er...*Tang*
Ugh, too many parts have neurotoxins, so not a good backyard plant. I'd worry about the dogs eating something. For a minute there I thought I'd discovered a nifty plant to track down. Probably better to just drink the Koolaidπ€£
[Wanders off to google it...]
I have no idea what that isπ€·ββοΈ What does it taste like? π€
Congratulations! ππ I really hate that the current official oppression is casting a shadow over your good news. This should be a time of unrestrained joy for you. Seize the joy, lean into the joy! Be you. Just keep being so very *you*π«β€οΈ
The way it should work is:
Travel--->must have travel games
With me it's more like:
Ooooo...travel games!--->Must travelπ€£

Chihuahuas are soft and cozy, so they like things that are soft and cozy!π
There were a number of things that struck me as "off" about the accusatory post. I've been horrified by the further mischaracterizations subsequent "piling on" by some ppl in the #boardgame community. This is the video we've been waiting for! Well done, Chaz!π Respect.
Oh, they are adorable! Pet those pups for me!π
Thereby defusing the blackmail option!π
Gives whole new (aka literal) meaning to CYAπ
Stay safe and warm!
It kinda sounds like getting brain in gear and car in gear are mutually exclusive activitiesβΉοΈ Hope it all works out OKπ€
I admit I feel a bit silly though: I have 3 copies of the game! 1. The original. 2. The Bloom Edition with 3D lotus & otters. 3. The new regular edition because it has a small box & ducks. And combined into the new small box with 2 ducks, 2 otters, & 3D tiles. 3 copies of 1 game! It's glorious!πͺ·
I love that the 3D blooms fit into the small box: makes it a very nice pretty travel game!
Double-layered player boards, left and right, resources in 4 bit bowls in right corner (plus a pile of Inuit meeples), ship upgrade tiles and cards. The main player board(s) are in sections rather than folded out, with score track to the far left. Above the main board is the first section of map. New sections will be revealed as the journey progresses.
I *think* we're set up to play Through Ice and Snow. We rearranged the layout a bit to try to make it less sprawling for 2 players. We're going to find the North West Passage (or die trying). The game isn't co-op, but there is a game condition where we could all die (lose)! #boardgames
