So if we want to know why dialysis is being rationed, there's a clear answer: it's so the 311 richest families in the country can enjoy one of the lowest effective tax rates in the world. We're killing people in order to make the ultra-rich ultra-richer

I'm all for the media releasing the hounds on Luxon, but it's interesting that it's a bad poll that gets them frothing rather than his govt's support for war and the immense harms the govt has done to health, Te Tiriti, education, the environment and the people suffering as a result.

LLMs fundamentally draw connections between data points within their training data and corpus of sources. All of which are digital files of some sort or another.

So much of the world isn't digitised. And even where things are, the nature of their connections often aren't apparent or well modeled.

This is an amazing post that unintentionally (I assume) exposes one of the biggest and most significant flaws in assumptions about modern AI/LLM.

AI can only work with what's in the computers.
