It’s worse that so many working class folks are convinced by the right’s virtue signaling to them. But as we all know there are so many intrinsic double standards.
They have their own TV channels, personalities, media. They deride fact checking and (well) moderated debate. They buy social media platforms to manipulate algorithms and amplify content that suits their preferred ends and worldview.
What they are threatened by are places of alignment + organizing
Great book!
Fun fact, the law isn’t what guarantees workers the right to organize. Solidarity is.
The bosses seem to have forgotten that the NLRA is a peace treaty. We can go back to the days when we were battling in the streets with Pinkerton’s but we don’t have to.
Instead of wallowing in despair, let’s organize all the workers.
