Voters ages 65+ are likely to make up 47% of the Oregon primary electorate this year.
This assumes a turnout of the average of the 2018/2022 primaries.

Here's what the decision by America's favorite sports league tells us about "anticipatory obedience."

CalFire site shows all the L.A. fires are 97% or more contained right now. I'm in awe of the hard work it took to get to this and hoping it keeps going in the right direction weather-wise and in every way. www.fire.ca.gov
Famed concern of the American people: underwriting length.
Public media is a threat to power because we don't operate inside the corporate levers and don't have billionaire owners who can kill coverage they don't like. Simple as that.

Audit data presentation at #SPSA2025 by @mitelectionlab.bsky.social team led by Sam Baltz and team. Amazing data collection challenges to explore impacts of audit.
For my election nerd friends. A live pod cast taping at the #SPSA2025 conference in Puerto Rico. @pgronke.bsky.social with Eric Fey, Brianna Lennon, and Jackie Wu.
Excited to join the SPSA meeting and share our research on elections. Bummed @alaskaair.bsky.social thinks Puerto Rico is not part of the US. Our colonial history has made a lasting impact on the island. But it is America.
Took some time to wander with family and try and unplug.
Amazing reporting β wild to see how this unfolds in the story.
Another election photo from the archive; this is also from the LA County "Got Dots?" voter information campaign in 2004.
The HBO Yacht Rock documentary is outstanding. Great series of stories about the era, the music business, mixing cultural forces, and connections to hip hop.

I am just starting to explore our initial results from the @electionsvoting.bsky.social Local Election Official Survey. Job satisfaction remains high, though one question we ask if election admins would recommend their children go into election admin - that number has fallen from 41% in 2023.
