I'd say we need at least a couple decades of a Democratic trifecta to actually fix everything the GOP broke before they get back in power. The Fascist wing of the GOP needs to be stomped down so thoroughly they can't come back for at least a century.
We've been in a cycle for several decades where Republicans control things for a while and tear things apart, followed by Democrats being in control for a while and trying to fix things while the Republican minority does everything they can to block Democrats' progress.
Why not? Better to go overseas than terrorize US citizens.
Honestly, though, I doubt most of them could pass the entry requirements. Many of them failed the ICE recruitment metrics and the leadership didn't realize until later.

Yes, we'll have an election in November. Elections are run by the states, he can't unilaterally cancel them. He and his puppeteers and lackeys will do everything they can to screw with them. I'm sure Mark Elias and his law firm will be very busy challenging whatever he does in court.
It's primary season for the mid terms. Find a candidate you can agree with on most subjects and do what you can to help them win. If your current Rep/Senators aren't doing the right thing push them to do better. If they're pushed enough they might just resign so we can replace them.
DJT likely won't survive the year. He may even croak before the mid terms. Everyone hates JD Vance, he can't hold the cult together. We can rebuild and even makes things better after the regime collapses.
It's long past time we had passing the US Citizenship test and a period of community service/international travel required to graduate from high school. We need well educated voters and well educated people to serve in elected office. That might be a good alternative to military service experience

We need a security clearance and a psych evaluation added to the requirements to run for president. Not a bad idea for Congress and appointed positions like the Cabinet and SCOTUS as well.

A lot of that was the Trump sycophants on SCOTUS skewing rulings in his favor. He did everything possible to delay the cases and they helped. Blaming Dems for due process not working fast enough doesn't do any good.

Them threatening the election makes it all the more important for us to work for our favored candidates and get as many people out to vote as possible. Posting "nothing will save us" on the internet does the opposite of that.
Given his terrible diet and lack of exercise they probably should have a while ago. I guess having access to the best medical care in the country makes a difference.
If I remember right it technically passed, but the last step was for the Librarian of Congress to officially recognize it. They refused to do it because the arbitrary deadline (which no other Amendment has ever had, as I recall) had passed.
I honestly think part of the reason he ran in 2016 was because he felt himself slipping and was trying to prove to himself that he wasn't losing his mind. At this point he's got one foot in the grave.
