I have brought some stuff that might be up your alley! I'll be sure to say hi if/when I see you

I have brought some stuff that might be up your alley! I'll be sure to say hi if/when I see you
Wonderful to have more folks in the non-traditional historical games space!
If any of these sound fun/interesting/like a car crash you can't look away from, I'd love to see you!
The last panel is about building local playtesting communities with @mandashafer.bsky.social and Kyt. I'll be sharing about the @breakmygame.com playtest group I run in Portland, and we'll talk about what has worked for us, and how you can start your own! It's on Friday at 10 in Ballroom B.
Box art for Train of Thought, based on a painting of the Acropolis of Athens, with a group of debating philosophers in the foreground.
Game 2 is more historical - Train of Thought, a mix of philosophy, worker placement, and trains. Players are schools of philosophy, building routes of ideas on shared topics. It plays 2-6 and takes about 1.5 hours. I have a table from 10-2 on Sunday, but will be also testing during open slots.
Panel 1 is with @stickydoodler.bsky.social and others from Designed in the DMV, and is about building local tabletop ecosystems. I'll share my experience with the PNW Indie Night Market, which @connor.alwaysawake.games organized, and other PNW Tabletop things. It's at 3 on Thursday in Ballroom C.
The Worm, a minion from Hench
Game 1 is a design I've worked on for a while, Hench. It's a "co-op-petative" game of cartoon minions, where players work together to accomplish missions for their evil boss, but want to get the most glory. It plays 3-6 and takes 30-45 minutes. I have a slot on Saturday from 10-2 for this fellow.
Hey folks! I will be bringing 2 games (one silly, one more serious, but still pretty silly) to Unpub this year and will be helping with 2 panels (unsure of silliness level here). I'll alternate between games and panels (in a thread, because I am bad at being concise)
Hello world! We are pleased to announce the founding of Hawk and Dove, a new historical game studio. We're just getting started on this journey, and we invite you all to follow along as we navigate the incredible world of board game publishing!
Check us out here: www.hawkanddovegames.com
I'm interested, would it be possible to make a game-time call? I have a panel that runs till 11, and might be wiped.
It's very sharp. I think I love it.
Unless I get tapped to fill in a last minute cancelation at Feedback Frenzy, I'll be there!
I'd be happy to play!
Congrats!!! It's gotta feel amazing

I played Signal with my regular group last weekend and am eagerly awaiting a chance to play Pacts
Take my advice with a huge grain of salt, but I like a "starter setup". Teaching Twilight Struggle, I had to have a whole section of the teach calling out Olympics and CIA Created (and explaining how to play around them), and having a "pull out the gotchas" mode would have made things easier
Picture of my face and some BEAutiful board game pics with the caption βYa boi is looking for full-time work! Iβm searching for something on the creative/community side of the tabletop industry. All leads are welcome :) More info coming soon.β
Welp, Print & Play is closing...
Iβll post more about it soon, but for now, holler if you have any hot, new job gossip!
(Iβve worked full-time in the tabletop industry for 6 years and sure do hope to keep it that way πββοΈ.)
I'm here for it!
It's wild! They were great folks, and I'll be sad to see them go
You might think this is coming out abit late, but that's because I was cultivating it to perfection cause it's Botanist time! Jen and Levi do some semi-heretical botany in Ishgard and get just a touch freaky with it.

I'll be there!
They're in, I saw them with my own eyes! Look for Hench and Train of Thought
I'd love to hear people talk about their games!
No game design survives the first unguided playtest.
I would suggest Screentop.gg . It's free, in browser, and supports most traditional games implementations. That fact that it's free and in-browser makes it easy to test with other folks, just point them to a website! Protospiel has a good tutorial here - www.youtube.com/live/PDXs4RB...
I don't want to make you listen to us if you're not already doing so, but I think this is important for #StarWarsUnlimited fans.
