The brain was a good idea, just not as well executed as it could be. Knees were just a bad idea.

It does seem like evolutionarily speaking, knees are one of the worst things nature came up with for humans.
I might see if I can get a flash card in time and bring an actual N64 to the upcoming @nordicgamejam.bsky.social for this. Looks like it could be a fun technical constraint.
Pay me a symbolic fee each month and I'll evaluate PRs for AI slop.
Pretty much every supermarket chain in Denmark is arranged consistently across the country so you always know where everything is or can easily guess it.
No problem โจ
It's even state in the very Wiki you shared: "The bill's title is notable because "420" is a common phrase used in cannabis culture. "
It does. It's from weed culture in the 70s. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/420_(ca...
420 means 4:20pm to go smoke pot. Could have been any time. 6 7 came from a song, became a shorthand for a basketball player and when said player scored during a game a kid was recorded saying "6 7" in that drawn out way. They are closer related in origin than 69 and 42 I'd argue.
It's a stretch to call Godot equally capable to Unity in it's current state. But it has potential.
6 7 is an anti meme that literally doesn't mean anything to mess with parents. The etymology of it is kind of interesting. 69 and 42 at least has meaning or origin. 420 is closer to 6 7 than 69 is in terms of origins.
This is the kind of thing that gives #unity3d a bad rep. I wanted to jump into Unity and do a prototype of an idea so I used their 3D URP template. I haven't done anything yet and I open up the template to *errors*. That's just sloppy.

A lot of them are just crypto grifters that turned to AI when crypto died out.
I love Wibbly Wobbly
That is true, yea
It was so important that the guy interrupted the MEP to tell him that. Wauw. Good job moderator.
The unrealistic part is not really that it's there. It's that your character looks at that and goes "I'm simply incapable of passing this obstacle."
It's also super weird to then read about their Machine Learning expert guy talking about how "ML Assets end up in the game". Machine Learning and Generative AI are not the same thing?
That sure looks like "We won't do it but we will". Which is it?? Also it's either wishful thinking or ignorance to suggest that one single studio can source enough of it's own asset to train a model for asset creation. Make it make sense someone ;_;

I gotta be honest the messaging here is not making sense to me kotaku.com/divinity-gen...
He starts out by saying: "So first off โ there is not going to be any GenAI art in Divinity."
Then ends by saying: "...If we use a GenAI model to create in-game assets, then itโll be trained on data we own."
What I always heard about version control for games is "Perforce exists and it's an industry standard." but then you ask anyone who use the software and they say it's terrible to use unless you have very disciplined colleagues.
Then "January Indie Games" is a bit of a...misnomer.
Isn't this starting a bit early..? It's only the 3rd of January.

Yet hooligans exists, gambling cartels exists and a billion dollar industry that has *real world consequences* depending on what happens in a game of football exists. "No stakes" is just not good enough because then professional sports are not games. Gonna be a hard sell.
I can confirm that what @duffadash.bsky.social says is true. I studied at ITU for my master's as well and there are no one who knows what a game is. There are entire courses dedicated to the question and we can't quite agree :')
I always considered a hitbox something that will apply damage or effects to whatever owns the hitbox. A hurtbox is the bounds that define an area which will hurt whatever hitbox collides with it.
The issue we have moreso than anything else is spelling. A lot of our words are spelled quite differently from how they are said due to just, not updating our spelling. So people from the Copenhagen area test higher on spelling than people in Jutland due to accent/dialect differences.
That's bad.
