Creaks finished on Steamdeck. Fantastic visuals and audio from Amanita Design again. Not massive but a nice puzzle game with a slightly creepy feel to it. I'll always recommend Amanita games to anyone. #backlog2026

I can still hear the creaking noise mine made
I'd love to hear from Chris again. It's been a good 24 years since I last saw him I think.
Haha, at least this one isn't too long π
Monument Valley 3 complete, as well as all the memories, on steamdeck. Another great sequel that I couldn't put down, so I'm paying for it today π I think my brain would explode if I even began to understand how these games work. So cool. #backlog2026
I feel your pain mate. Got 3 kids myself, youngest is nearly 10 and I still have no time or energy π At least when they grow up a bit they will play games with you
No I used the sticks and buttons, mainly because I switched from handheld to docked during my playthrough, so it keeps it consistent.
Simon the Sorcerer: Origins complete on steamdeck. Great to hear Chris Barrie back and some nods to the original game, which is a sequel to this. Loved it all, only needed 3 hints, 2 of which I thought I'd already tried. Recommended for point & click adventure fans! #backlog2026
Yeah that's the third pic there. Chicken Shift. It's a bit hard is that one for only having 2 buttons
At Arcade Club Bury today and found a few cabs I've not actually seen before in person. Pity Wacko was down, because I really want to play that one.
First game down of 2026! Monument Valley 2 on steamdeck/PC. Excellent sequel to the first and a little more challenging I thought. Love these games though, so onto the third! #backlog2026
Had the first 2 on mobile ages ago. Just bought the trilogy for my steamdeck. They really are great games.
Merry Xmas to all! Hope you all manage to get some gaming in, retro or modern.
New pickup to go with my TheC64 Used to use this in primary school, mostly playing Centipede. Then moved onto the +2 in secondary school in the Spectrum Club π
I bought the Monument Valley Collection on steam and just played through the first game, including it's two small expansions. A perspective bending puzzle game inspired by MC Escher art. Great visuals, sound and gameplay, edging towards cosy. #backlog2025
I completed Shadow of the Colossus on PS4/5. Good game and the Colossi are very impressive, especially in this updated version. Spent more time fighting with the awful camera than them though! The world also just feels a bit wasted. It's massive with nothing to do #backlog2025
Bubba n Stix, Bubble and Squeak, Jetstrike, Banshee, Diggers, Little Divil, Simon the Sorcerer, a few others too. I sold my original CD32 but bought another a few years ago.
Only managed a few photos of the UKVAC meet in Timewarp Arcade, Bridgwater on Saturday. A good time was had by all!
Picked up a GBA game I sold some years ago. Bomberman Tournament. 4 Player Bomberman battles with a Zelda/Pokemon style adventure mode too. Gonna have a full playthrough soon. #backlog2025
Finally finished Mario Odyssey on Switch! I got it with the Switch and bounced of it once I got to Donk City. Really great game though and quite addictive. More post story stuff to do! #backlog2025
Today!
21 years since I started at Rockstar today. A little over 25 years in the industry. Feeling properly old.
I thought the characters looked familiar. The bosses look like the fighters from Yie Ar Kung Fu. I like this game a lot better though. You should do a play tips video π
Ouch, don't think I'll get near that score! I always knew this better as Shaolin's Road. Great game though.
Can't train properly at the minute due to my shoulder, so some alternative Kung Fu training today. Beat my high score too!
π I'm counting anyone even slightly older than me as old, so I feel younger.
Thought it was the old Italian football player from Father Ted for a sec
Bugsnax complete on PS5. Good game, like something Rare would come up with. Not too hard and lots of missions and side-quests to do. Some representation of same sex couples, which you don't see often in games, so that's cool. Good for kids and adults! #backlog2025
πͺAre you ready to rewind the cassette tape and roll back the years on Lumo 2? If so, watch this special announcement trailer belowπ€©π₯

Day of the Tentacle Remastered complete on PS5. An absolute classic, I completed this decades ago on PC, when it was released. I only needed one small hint this time π #backlog2025
