Like many African American parents, my mom tried to prepare me for the possibility of police brutality through a generational ritual known as The Talk.
As ICE detentions and arrests expanded last year, I started wondering if immigrant mothers were having their own talk. From me, via @19thnews.org:

a neighbor set up this werewolf for halloween and instead of taking it down they just update it with seasonal outfit changes. now it’s dressed for valentine’s day and holding a sign with a picture of bad bunny and his super bowl slogan. i love him.

This is surreal. 4 Oglala Lakota men kidnapped by ICE in Minneapolis have finally been located. One of them was released but the other 3 are being held at Fort Snelling, a former concentration camp used to imprison Native people incl. the Dakota 38 during Dakota Wars.

I don't think it's ever been more clear that many of these people want to kill us. They want us dead. They want us gone. If you're a Trump supporter who doesn't feel this way, if you're horrified by it, I would encourage you to speak out against violent rhetoric and actions. Because the window for forgiveness is rapidly closing among most of us, if it hasn't already been permanently slammed shut. I warn you: do not be the willful idiot who thinks there's a path back from this. That pendulum is gonna swing back with a lot of goddamn weight, and you do not want to be on the receiving end of it. Rediscover that part of your soul that's humane and act accordingly. There ain't much time left.

Bombing another country and kidnapping its leader would also be wrong with Congressional approval. The outrage, and call for impeachment, should be over the evil and illegal outcome not merely the failure to follow the prescribed process.
