a tiny light brown dachshund is being held up by a human who is out of frame. they are at a beautiful snowy mountain range that looks straight out of a Pinterest photo. the dachshund pup, Frankie, is wearing a full body puffer jacket that matches her light brown fur perfectly.
This is Frankie. She just got a fancy new puffer and thinks she’s better than everyone now. And she is correct. 13/10 (IG: frankielasaucisse)
A greenish black toad with large, widely spaced warty bumps on their back, perched on a stick! The warty bumps are brown in color, as is the top of their head, their large parotoid glands, and the back sides of their legs!
Our friend the Udzungwa Glandular Tree Toad was first described as a new species just a few months ago! Like other toads in genus Nectophrynoides, they do not lay eggs and instead give birth to fully developed toadlets! (photo by John Lyakurwa)
Frog tries to spur Toad into cleaning his house, kinda in a passive-aggressive way if you ask me. Toad hides under the covers. From "Tomorrow" In *Days with Frog and Toad*
“Toad,” said Frog, “your pants and jacket are lying on the floor.”
“Tomorrow,” said Toad from under the covers.
My angel, Rebel. A beautiful little grey and white Shih Tzu. She’s laying on my chest, tongue out, sensing my struggle as she so often does.
This little dog has seen me through my darkest days.
You can’t compare the love you feel to anything else in the whole world.
@marcelias.bsky.social knew. He knew all too well.
If the whole world could come together on this one true thing, who knows what we could do.
A PSA from Thomas Massie:
Four-panel comic of a black cat with stern eyes and the text “I wish your March is full of…”. In the final panel, the cat’s eyes turn big and shiny against a pink background as it holds a small red heart.

The second and third richest men control Google.
The fourth richest man owns Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp.
The fifth richest man owns The Washington Post.
And now the sixth richest could soon take over both Paramount and Warner Bros.

Watercolor painting of a derpy looking blue bird with black beak and big eyes. It has black legs. 🐡
How can this derpy #Borb not make a re-entry for today's #BirdOfTheDay theme?
(I am still confused how this is the most sold art print of mine: www.inprnt.com/gallery/luci...)

Last month, a Pennsylvania farmer rejected $15M from data center developers to sell his farmland.
Another in Wisconsin turned down $80M.
America's farmers and others across the country are pushing back on Big Tech.

Schiff: I've not missed the State of the Union in the 25 years I've been in Congress, but we have never had a president violate the constitution every day with seeming impunity.
We can't treat this as some new normal, so I'm here boycotting...
A fanciful image, where I superimposed the quizzical face if my gray shih tzu onto the whorl of a wood knot in a gray fence plank. The angle of the whorl fit the dog face, giving the impression that the wood elicited an image of the dog.

This is Bailey. He wants to be picked up and put on the bed. Could just jump, but prefers this method. 12/10 (TT: screamingbailey8)
Screenshot of an X post from Headquarters quoting figure skater Alysa Liu speaking about noticing faults in the U.S. government and supporting immigrant rights. The embedded image shows Liu smiling during an interview, wearing a Team USA jacket with a U.S. flag patch, seated against a backdrop with stars and red, white, and blue colors.
What a remarkable young woman.
Hines: I handled human trafficking cases all over Southeast Michigan. I believe survivors deserve justice, no matter who the accused is. Accountability cannot depend on whether someone is powerful, wealthy, or politically connected.
Alysa Liu telling 60 Minutes “I love struggling, it makes me feel alive” is a legit revolutionary statement from a Bay Area native in a time when copious amounts of time and resources are being put toward convincing us to opt out of experiencing struggle, friction and self-actualization
An old comic style of a woman looking out her window at a city skyline. The bubble says, “What a stupid time to be alive.”

Hurrah - it’s World Pangolin Day!

Don't congratulate John Roberts or the Supreme Court.
Congratulate Rick Woldenberg, the Chicago-area leader of Learning Resources, an educadtional toy company that had the courage to sue the president of the United States to save his family business.
As well as everyone else who stepped up.
NEW: Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker sent Trump a letter and an invoice demanding the return of $8.6 billion taken from Illinois families after the Supreme Court ruled Trump’s tariffs are illegal.
Trump has turned the Department of Justice into his own personal vendetta machine. And Pam Bondi has been happy to go along for the ride.
