I started this project based on Arihant Gupta's course on Vellum Introduction, and then challenge myself to take it a step further by adding an alembic file(from Mixamo) to interact with the simulation and render it in Solaris.

To make sure the lowered viscosity was applied only to the top part of the ice cream, I linked it to the @age point attribute, affecting points with an age less than 2.
The waffle cone was made by Probiner. Amazing work from him.
In the earlier version, I had a hard time forming the soft peak of the ice cream. To achieve this soft peak, I lowered the viscosity at a specific frame (inside a SOP Solver).
I wanted to learn FLIP simulations in Houdini, so I followed the gel paste tutorial by Indian VFX School in SideFXβs Learning Library. Initially, I planned to create a gel simulation, but I wanted to take it a step further. So I decided to create an ice cream FLIP simulation based on the gel setup.
