It’s been a beautiful sunny day in York. I’ve had lunch in my garden, listening to the birds, which is absolutely delightful. This afternoon, I’ve been signing books in my studio for customers to pick up this week and next.

It was near Strensall a few weeks ago. My friend went back last week and there were only a few left. It’s was by the bridge over the beck on Haxby Moor Road before you come into the village from Haxby.
