I've seen enough, Lucas Ramirez welcome to the Milwaukee Brewers
I've seen enough, Lucas Ramirez welcome to the Milwaukee Brewers
Maybe one of them could even develop into a Turang caliber player
Yeah so we are never ever going to be able to afford Turang's next contract
Will we see Brewers 2024 legend Thyago Vieira tonight for Brazil?
Obviously my number one country in the WBC is the USA, but I really like Venezuela as well
Tickets are surprisingly cheap on Seatgeek, so I'll probably hold out. That Saturday is Star Wars day so I intend to do the cheap ticket that date.
FWIW I intend to go twice, once on a cheap ticket and once on a $100+ ticket
Going to Washington DC to catch the Brewers play the Nats the first weekend of May. Do we think ticket prices will go up or down between now and then?
I absolutely love this article written about Dennis Kula and his quest to obtain a photograph of every single player to play for the Cleveland Guardians. What a quest, so happy he was able to finish it.
Joey Ortiz struck out in his first at bat, baseball is back!
I feel like it's a Brewers fan right of passage to get a signed bottle of Stormin Sauce
I thought this until August 8, 2021 when I sat there in 86F weather and said never again
When in a seat on the first deck, it's hot but bearable. In the second deck left field bleachers, it's like sitting in hell.
Ballpark Pass acquired, Opening Day ticket bought, cmon Brewers release the hot dog club
I'm not a huge fan of trading card style bobbleheads but I love the 1975 Topps card design. Contreras calling the bullpen is very fun, I'll be at this game
I was a weird kid who started reading TIME Magazine in early middle school, so that along with Sports Illustrated were always my choices.
You did, Brewers launched Brewers.tv through MLB.tv today. All (non national) games streamed for $100 a season for in-market fans.
Sorted out streaming the Brewers, now I just need to buy the Ballpark Pass and the Hot Dog Club and I'm all set for the season
Nice, MLB.tv is cheaper than Fan Duel was for Brewers games
As a request to all you baseball card guys, if you're ripping 2026 Series 1 and find a Seigler card (of any rarity including paper), shoot me a DM and I'll take it off your hands for a few bucks
Thankfully Anthony Seigler gets a Brewers card this week, and David Hamilton already has a card, so we are still in a good place for my baseball card project.
Me, a person reading too fast in light of recent news, "I swear Caleb Durbin hasn't been on the team for six years? "
Good news everyone, we now have two (2) Joey Ortiz at home
They sent Durbin to Boston???
I take the risk of posting about my job, but this photograph was too cool not to share. Unfortunately, I could not figure out how to limit the glare.
I recently had this aerial photograph of Horlick Field, Racine Wisconsin (in its baseball configuration) hung in my office. It dates to the 1940s when the Racine Belles from the AAGPBL would have taken the field to play women's professional baseball.
Catch me at Star Wars night π
I'm in a Liverpool WhatsApp group chat based out of Milwaukee, and let me tell you, it's not handling this recent skid very well!
That's George Canale wearing number 6 for some reason. A blessing and a curse of this project is I have a dozen unique cards for each junk wax era player, so an easy fix.
