I was today years old when I discovered that the
@wmo-global.bsky.social maintains a list of nearly all Earth observation missions 🛰️ ever launched, making it possible to query a variable and find every mission that produced it, past, present, and future and across all agencies in the world! 🤯
Just about done with my 1st week as a Visiting Scholar at the @wmo-global.bsky.social where I will spend the summer! It has been a whirlwind of new faces and exciting projects to learn about, and I’m looking forward to contributing to the agency’s efforts on remote sensing of water and ecohydrology!
...that neither inundation 🌊 nor precipitation 🌧️ in the Tropics can explain the recent methane surge, suggesting that either ‼️ other controls of methane are responsible for the surge, or that non-hydrological controls matter more for tropical wetlands than presently understood ‼️
