if you take a shot every time they scream, youβd be drunk
But i was told by username1000 that ferrari are a bunch of clowns ππ
kindly duck you!!! and read this post!!!!!!!!
That meant several cars who had stayed out during the earlier VSC were able to benefit from this one instead. Drivers such as Oliver Bearman were able to pit during the lap 18 VSC and gain the reduced pit loss that Ferrari had been hoping to exploit. From the data available it does not appear Ferrari made an incorrect call here. They simply never had a realistic opportunity to pit once the VSC was deployed
Regarding Ferrari strategy in Melbourne, Ruth Buscombe has spoken. βIt does not appear Ferrari made an incorrect call hereβ
amarco ratings has to be rage bait at this point or everyone voting is just dumb and has a stick up their behind for the brits
George Russell whining on the radio when absolutely being dog walked by Charles for 15 laps was hilarious. Buddy YOU HAVE THE FAST CAR.
Can still happen there are many races to go
βUsually Iβm crystal clear, in the sense that you can read my emotions well. Today you were wrong for the first time ever! Iβm not happy one bit. I still smile because itβs the first race of a long year but Iβm not happy for many reasons: we have many things to get better at. What Iβm not happy about is my pace. I couldβve done better. I wasnβt at the top with it and the strategy was a bit difficult to optimize it. I didnβt have a constructive weekend from FP1 to race, it should go up but I changed my set up and that is never good. Today I wasnβt in the right window with the car, so I struggled a bit to get this podium. Lewis was a bit faster in the end.β
one of my favorite things about Charles has always been his ability to hold himself to a high standard and critique his own driving.
on Sky Italia post-race, he did not hold back from admitting his faults. he immediately understood where he went wrong in Australia and acknowledged it.
anyway look at this batshittery lmfao what in the absolute fuck
AUS THOUGHTS before going back to sleep,
FERRARI ARE SO BACK, fantastic race from Charles, we have a fantastic car strong start for the season. We have a strong competitive base. Its going to be Merc v Ferrari, clear top 2.
well i'm happy!!!! the car looks really, really good. and the pace was a lot closer than i was expecting.
i've seen some people say Mercedes was holding back to preserve tyres, but Charles had massive LICO the entire 2nd stint. and considering this track was supposed to heavily favor Merc...
Charles: This is like a mushroom in Mario Kart.
Bryan: That was a funny one.

that Mercedes is illegal, reply if you disagree
so Charles said something very interesting in the post-quali interviews:
basically, the cars are having to learn throughout the session based on the previous lap how to properly use deployment. so if you run into any stoppages or breaks in quali or you mess up a bit, this interrupts that process
People saying Ferrari's season is over you look like π€‘ right now
Laughing at the crashout some 'fake' tifosi are having, currently more entertaining than the cars on track. Not even one race and we already have people giving up the season.
Considering how much talking James Vowles did through 2024 and 2025 about 2026 and not caring about the results in those ones, 15th and a broken car unable to compete in qualifying should put him under considerable pressure.
But the media treat him like Steiner. So no tough questions will be asked
The season hasnβt even started properly and there are no grounds to make this judgement.
this is a warning that if you doompost race weekend 1 you're not only getting blocked, but i will publicly humiliate you before doing so
they gave him a βmust be the waterβ bottle iβm crying
Charles: Why is my rearview mirror not working?
Bryan: Charles, we will fix it in between sessions. Just focus on driving
Charles: Yeah I know Iβm trying, itβs just really fucking annoying
theyβre back yβall

F1 media cannot for a single fucking day talk about this sport or the drivers in it without any bias. which look, i don't expect them to never not show bias, but if you're still saying Charles Leclerc is error prone in 2026 when George Russell is "magically fixed" you have your head up your ass.
alright now we're pissing me off. if you're media, you have a fucking obligation to back your opinions up with proper logic.
1) this ignores the fact that Charles, Alex, and George all raced against each other up until 2016, when Alex and Charles got promoted to GP3 and George stayed in F3.
I'm real sick and tired of everyone from pundits to the people responsible for the marketing of the sport thinking of Charles as nothing but this doomed hero as opposed to a person who has gone through a lot privately and has the fact he chooses to be open about it constantly taken advantage of
not promoting a video from F1 that will only further the idea that charles crashes on a regular basis. iβve seen this film before. yβall couldβve chosen any other moment and you donβt even show kimi taking him out #alright
as much as i'm trying to move in silence, i want to praise the team for their hard work and efforts. no matter what happens, we can't say they're not trying. and i do think there's something to be said about the customer teams being incredibly happy with the PU as well. that really tells a story.
and another thing i'm proud of: they're not showing their hand. the message has been consistent throughout testing: we feel comfortable, but we don't know where we are. all we're looking for is reliability. the performance will come.
and it's all adding up as the days have gone by.
clearly we don't know the pecking order at all. yet the innovations that Ferrari have brought to Bahrain in adding components to their car to bring more performance are exactly what i was hoping for.
Fred Vasseur did not lie when he said they would have a different car by the end of testing.
honest preseason testing thoughts:
i'm impressed and i'm not afraid to say it. i think Ferrari have done an impeccable job both with their PU and their chassis. one of the big issues they had throughout the ground effect era was aero correlation. both drivers look quite comfortable on track.
