That fact gave me joy today.
TIL Daniel Radcliffe’s speaking tempo is almost 2x speed. So, trying to watch his interview on @colbertlateshow.bsky.social, it was almost unintelligible. I had to slow it down.
At work, I’ve learned to listen to audio at double speed. It makes things go, well, twice as fast. It also spills over to my other listening & watching which annoys @DommyGonzalez.bsky.social to no end.

What’s odd is I expected an actual separate train that ran on its own set of tracks & not just an extension of another line that they just decided to rename to appease some residents. To all the folks back in the #Northeast who’ve had up to 3’ ft plus of snow dumped on you, I feel your pain. Except I’m jealous too, even about the snow removal process. Would you send some to LA? We could use the water.

The before shot of me trying to replace the sheathing over the wires of my bike light the pictures of a small circuit board with capacitors, chips and connectors plus 4 neatly soldered 22 gauged wires in red, black, white, and green, neatly attached to their contacts with a dab of solder.
The after shot of me having reconnected those same wires, red, black, white and green. The solder is messy and gloopy and it is quite possible, there is a short somewhere among those wires.
I used to know how to solder. My mentors in college taught me very well, but in the intervening years, something has happened. Even though I watch videos & see folks able to neatly rewire a circuit board with a little bit of flux, solder & an iron in seconds, I guess I need a little more practice.
Mail more letters and postcards. Please.
