This linoprint is image is taken from a visit my family paid to the Ulster Folk Museum a number of years ago and my children had a chance to wear the masks similar to those the Armagh Rhymers wear.

My latest piece. Based on my memories of growing up with visitations of the Armagh Rhymers at school and festivals. The Armagh Rhymers are an Irish folk theatre group preserving the tradition of rhyming and mumming. They wear woven flax, willow and straw masks.

Sat 1 Nov at Assembly Rooms Faversham. 2 min walk from station, 1 hr train from London, 30 min from Margate etc. Come!
