When my godmother began hospice, her only concern was Boo. And thus, on Dec 3, 2016, Boo became mine. For the last 8 years she was the glue that held together so much.
Her health declined rapidly the last 2 weeks and yesterday I said goodbye to this sweet soul. What a gift to have loved her. 💔

There are so many little moments on this movie that capture the chaos of family so well. I’ve yet to find another that so subtly captures such complex feelings. One of my absolute favorites.
Doesn’t hurt that my dad took me to see it in the theater and I caught him wiping away tears. 🥹
I am obsessed. My sister suggested we watch it this summer when visiting our dad bc we couldn’t find anything to watch. I’ve basically been listening to the soundtrack on repeat since then and we’re watching it on Christmas with the family because some haven’t seen it yet. It’s just so wholesome. 🥹
