The stops at St Oswald's in 1284 almost certainly refer to Nostell Priory in W.R. and not N.R. Close Roll notes Nostell and Gough says Wragby parish WR. Therefor not the church at Lythe N.R. as shown on map.

It'll be the hall next to the Abbey which is now the English Heritage visitor centre. The other is likely to be Bagdale Hall, in Ruswarp township but now in the town, now a hotel, owned by Conyers at that time, I think.
An extraordinary medieval manuscript has been discovery at Shrewsbury School giving fresh insight into the development of medieval Christian writing

Thanks. Hope you settle in quickly and enjoy yourself.
Is the Bamberger Reiter statue still standing? Vague childhood memories. Just remember it was famous but not sure why.
Interesting @whitbymuseum.bsky.social
Plenty of achievements - celebrating your most significant life events, relief (I hope) at your diagnosis and organising a conference! Congratulations. That's not even thinking about the difference you have made to your students.
Just the thing for @whitbynats.bsky.social and @whitbymuseum.bsky.social and has a section on Stoker, the seaside and lighthouses. Looking forward to reading it over the weekend holidays.
