I agree that in principle it is doable and that the US has the capability to remove and secure. But they 1) have to know where it is; and 2) execute the operation in the middle of a firefight. It’s not trivial even in calm conditions. Project Sapphire took almost a month and it was metal.

Everyone’s HEU packaging is very similar.

The 30Bs are too big as is for HALEU but HEU cylinders are overkill for <20% and don’t hold that much material for safety reasons.

I have seen US designs with specs in some of the literature about HALEU packaging, but I don’t recall details off hand. Based on those specs, I expect whatever designs are being used by Iran are going to look very similar because the size and shape is clearly physics based on my experience.

That said, given the quantity of material it would a very large number of cylinders (hundreds) and they would probably be in transport cages/overpacks.

HEU cylinders are portable for a strong person. 30Bs are of course not.
