Blessed Savior, at this hour you hung upon the cross, stretching out your loving arms: Grant that all the peoples of the earth may look to you and be saved; for your tender mercies' sake. Amen.

Guide us waking, O Lord, and guard us sleeping; that awake we may watch with Christ, and asleep we may rest in peace.
Alleluia, alleluia, alleluia!
May 8 is the feast of Julian of Norwich!
Triune God, Father & Mother to us all, who showed your servant Julian revelations of your nurturing & sustaining love: Move our hearts, like hers, to seek you above all things, for in giving us yourself you give us all.
Join us at 7am for morning prayer! ๐ฏ
It's International #LesbianVisibilityDay!
We are named Scudder Chapel after Vida Dutton Scudder. She was an episcopal theologian, educator, socialist, activist and lesbian.
She reminds us of our Gospel call from God to strive for a more just world with the poor and oppressed!

Praise the Lord, all you nations;
laud him, all you peoples.
For his loving-kindness toward us is great,
and the faithfulness of the Lord endures for ever!
Morning prayer at 7am at the former Gethsemane Episcopal Church in downtown Minneapolis!
Christ has been raised from the dead,
the first fruits of those who have fallen asleep.
For since by a man came death,
by a man has come also the resurrection of the dead.
For as in Adam all die,
so also in Christ shall all be made alive. Alleluia!
Morning Prayer at 7 am! Join us! ๐ฏ
O God, whose Son Jesus is the good shepherd of your people; Grant that when we hear his voice we may know him who calls us each by name, and follow where he leads; who, with you and the Holy Spirit, lives and reigns, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.
From 7-720am every weekday morning, we meet at the former Gethsemane Episcopal Church in downtown Minneapolis and we pray the morning office from the 1979 Book of Common Prayer!
Whether you have never prayed the office or are very familiar, you are very welcome to join any mornings you'd like!
Would you add me please?
Did you know there's a growing group of Episcopalians in Minneapolis meeting for morning prayer Monday-Friday at the beautiful former Gethsemane Episcopal Church, and occassionally celebrating feast days that aren't typically celebrated? Because there is and we are them!
