They're public figures. If the rest of the terms of their contracts are public, then these negotiations will also be public. A player can exercise his rights and live with irrational fans being annoyed, or they can accept the trade. Unprofessional by GMs, but highly paid public figures lose privacy.

I think it's a two offseason project like the end of 2022. If we get good news about Arnold that would help a lot, but there's too much shit flying around to be optimistic. If they go OL heavy this year they can focus on the secondary at the deadline, 2026 FA and draft. Branch + LaPorta 100% in 2026
