What tutorials did you use to figure out the soft body/surface deform stuff? I’ve been sitting on an allosaurus rig for like 6 months now because after getting the majority of it done I couldn’t figure out the soft body part

I did end up making a desk for this exact reason! All the stuff out there was just not nice enough material or wasn’t the specs I wanted! Was basically chasing the ghost of this fella

Usually I’ve seen these drafting tables go for $1500-2000 USD, this one nobody wanted, so I got it for the princely sum of $150. Absolute diamond of a find.
The more I go back and forth between the garage and the studio the more worried I get haha. My studio space is like a galley, long but not super wide.

Earlier this month I got this drafting table for a bargain basement deal- this week I think I’ve finally finished tuning it up and cleaning it, just gotta figure out how to get it into the house.

I just acquired this vintage Mayline 1950’s Desk-O-Matic II. Needs a little love but it does function! Just needs to be lubricated so the parts aren’t sticking, and the blotter needs replacing. Anybody have advice? #draftingtable #vintagefurntiture

I spent years trying to find a good photoshop brush that mimicked pencil enough to where my brain would be okay with it. Tried loads of different ones. The one that worked?
Me taking a basic ass round brush, setting it to 20% hardness, then throwing a grainy texture over that :-/

Now that Christmas is past - here’s a gift my daughter and I made for my mom. She did the underpainting in acrylic, I went back and made the portrait in acrylic ink and gouache, and then she came back in and doodled on top of it. 11x14, gouache, acrylic, colored pencil. #portrait #gouache #acrylic

I’m pretty sure if I remember right it was Girrafititan, with some speculative soft integument, particular on the face. That big sloping empty spot on the front of the face always seemed unusual on the skull to just be left bare.
Ahhh I still like these. I need to carve out more time to screw around like this, it just always ends up low on my priorities.
