Iteration & expansion of our mediaforms. Embodying ourselves amid the digital. Singing life to the new bodies electric. To properly become connected together we must devise better forms to commune with the machine & connect w ourselves. #BetOnTheWeb.
Little late to reshare, but, neat
i love how many programmabilities / malleabilities @vscode.dev is layering in here! this dawning agentic engineering era has us each crafting our own tools and environments more, and whether our tools help or hurt is so crucial.
there's just so little of the obvious truth out there,
so much offense & affront that is just so lukewarmly shrugged over.
just to call out,
to touch the truth & compel some light from out of us:
oh it feels so good.
this was so relieving to hear.
This is technical not content, but a little bit of tasteful elevation change really really highlights the 2.5d so well. Moving across the surface felt a little flat but adding a little height change really brought depth to the scene, for me.
Thank the frelling stars, someone stepped up and is hard at work on Decorators!

This is such a crucial capability. So so vital! Thanks team for jumping in with great reviews too.
It's amazing to see a whole ass administration dedicated so hard to LARP'ing out a weird alternate reality.
I think even @baudrillardwarned.us would be shocked how hard and heavy this total decoupling from reality & meaning has come.
Conversational programming just showed up again on my radar.

Been using "agentic" a lot.
Difficult because it's a new age & we just barely begin to know. New things happening at a rate where old words aren't enough.
Really nice 2.5d! Cool cool cool.
This is so π₯, thank you for sharing!!!
Knowing what lurks perhaps just barely on the horizon is so good to see. Helps us know what to ask for!
This weak ass regime. Losers.
I'm forgetting your phrasing but jenn schiffer still just hotter badder than ever
Already followed! So good I want to follow twice.
Amazing thread, great history lesson, thank you! Followed.
There's terms like authoritarian but it's across so many more dimensions, externally as well as internally at home.
He's providing such cover for all the worst fucking people on the planet. Russia has been such a piece of shit to do many countries in so many ways, but it's always been such an outlier. It's not like the US has fucking switched & decided to become a menace, it actually has, no like about it.
I still think of the 'joke' about Travis Kalanick being a robin hood figure taking investor billions to give us cheap rides for a decade. Of course, now they are profitable & screwing over drivers but π€·.
I like how much more high road this thought train of yours goes.
Theocratic ass losers. Thank heavens they haven't injected their shit into all our secular realms. Frak!
But congress just voted not to care, once again.
Reminds me of them voting that their calendar wouldn't change, so they don't have to vote on tariff emergency powers every 6mo.

They defy god and country both. Time shalt not be stopped.
I for one am ready for this world where IP just doesn't matter and we can all just use whatever content we want however we want in whatever production we want.
(I am not ready. These people are illegitemate clowns making mockery of US law.)
My QotD nominee:
"content here increasingly becomes worthless because only a worthless LLM like Grok can see it, the massive degradation in epistemics of the remaining humans,"
Indirectly sings the song of atproto:
* Words that all & history can see.
* Compostable tools to #AugmentIntellect.
i do think open-source/protocols as psuedo-religion kind of sort of needs to happen.

there's all these on the ground tactical battles everywhere,
but there's this bigger meta-context, that a lot of techies, i think, feel very strongly, deep in their bones.
I have been trying to write this ticket for margin.at annotations, which I have been trying to do on bsky.app, but have wanted to be able to do directly on people's PDS records.

Cited your post, as (bit of a leap) it has similar tensions. Decoupling from instances.
This is such a great post. It's sheds such a clarity on where we really are in the world.
man so, ljh*rb is still an uncool pat dick, after all these years?
lots of good work. still have my thanks. but damn buddy, you're still like this? frak.
I really wish Google would implement this for more than mobile (Android only?)!
You don't need to share to native apps on desktop platforms, just Web Share Target and Web Share for web page would be fine. So aggravating what an afterthought even Google treated this like.
have you seen Elysia? there's a lot of things i like here. and the ts feels like gunshi cli levels of well thought out good.

there's so much room for synergy here on atproto! awesome.
this @macwright.com post on leaflet finding success by being here was a good one from today!

screenshot of system status graph right now. been hovering around lower 80 token/s "Peak Decode" most of the week, with a big bump up to 110 around march 1. lite decode is ~20 less.
glm-5 has been kind of rough, but it's finally back to good, yay.
i really really appreciate that their interface shows you some current system performance! there's some other latency too, that doesn't necessarily correspond, but having something is nice.
(i am also available full time or to consult on your projects in this realm, if anyone want to make their software more agentic for their users!)
