I think the Derry match knocked a lot out of the team. Losing Beirne to the red card and Feely picking up an injury too. It was a very physical match in tough conditions. The game against Cavan sounded dire too, the weather conditions hampered both teams. Will have to wait and see how they respond.

Definitely, when you think Louth are defending Leinster champions and Meath got to the AI semi-final as well. A lot of retirements from the Kildare panel this year - Niall Kelly, David Hyland & Daniel Flynn. Kildare really need to stay up for long term development!
