I bounced off it after a couple hours the first time I tried it, but now I am enthralled
CrossCode is a fun and cool video game of which I am playing
4 panels, the first is just the waves of the ocean and some big ol’ clouds. the next three are focused on each of the new pokemon starters. Browt a little chicken looking guy is sitting on a log in a forest on the edge of a beach. Pombon a fluffy fire dog is standing proudly on some rocks while waves crash against them and lastly gecqua, a water gecko snoozes on a rock in a swampy pond area.

Sooo many bangers. I really loved Sunken Fun, Brash Bounce, and the Treble Depths with the ambient leadup was always super exciting in game.
Though lowkey I feel like my favorite track is Floating Fashionista. Always such a vibe heading back to hub.
A series of well respected remakes/remasters is not safe enough at this point, what the fuck.
I wonder whose idea it was to put them on a God of War live-service.

This game is a dream come true for fans of deep movement systems and freedom. It's incredibly ambitious and evolves on the Bowser's Fury concept in some awe-inspiring ways. I spent roughly 30 hours completing it 100%.
$20? An absolute STEAL for this kind of game given the breadth of content.
