Coffin Moon is the best vampire novel I've read since Salem's Lot, and it takes place in 1975 & '76 with such an authentic feel. Now I'm gonna tackle Keith Rosson's backlog. Wish I'd started reading his jams long before. Commanding prose, digestible metaphors, excellent syntax—from cover to cover!

I share this feeling. Netflix had a fun show, "Hemlock Grove." They removed it after three seasons. Can't find it on physical media either. The titular town features gypsies, werewolves, "upires" (vampires) & other strange creatures. All within the titular town. Loved the first season. (TV-MA)
