Today I released Scythe 0.4.0 which brings Hotspots to Unreal 5.5: π§΅(1/9)
I think by default it automatically Output Velocity for non-translucent materials.
I was speaking about the parameter in the SPrite Renderer in Niagara :p
There is a setting into the Sprite Renderer where you can set the "Velocity Calculation" or something among those line to "Precise" it helps to reduce the Ghosting
It depends on your intended results, but when I have too much overdraw, I try to mix some masked and translucent sprites to try to balance performance/visuals

Small thing I wanted to try ever since I saw it in a bunch of toon shaders: a depth-offset based rim lighting that responds to the light direction β¨
It's quite more stylized than just a thresholded fresnel and it can look pretty sick with cel shadingπ

Main complaint I have about the game is that it was advertised as an accessible fighting games with no motions control etc.
When you look at gameplay, full of combo extender and combo that lasts 4-5+ seconds. No thanks π«

I started working on the V2 of the ARPG Essentials VFX Pack during the holidays!
It should add around 10 new VFX and improve visuals of around half of existing VFX + some QoL for the demo map (slow-mo, toggle lighting/floor...)
