To create the textiles in this new exhibition at the Saskatchewan Craft Council, local artists worked with Saskatchewan ranchers and shepherds to source their wool. Many can even name the individual sheep whose fleece was used in their work! π

The exhibition has garnered a wide range of reactions β negative & positive! This collection is meant to initially draw the viewer in with its feminine, pastel atmosphere but then cause a jolt of surprise & disgust when gallery visitors recognize the grotesque & bizarre details within the work.
