Wish I had a better picture of my first fursuit (made 2015?). Foam, fleece, minky, and both the markings and eyes were colored with markers. All hot glued seams. Compared to my most recently finished suit using faux fur, minky, TPU, and sewn markings sold at ANW this year. Practice and patience 💜

Devastated by the loss of @bycats4cats.bsky.social 💔 he was one of the first few makers I learned about and started keeping up with when joining furry. I made a small videos YEARS ago about my top makers. It didn’t have a lot of views but he was the only one in that video who managed to find it and
Sinine and I somehow both left ours in the room after dealers den tear down at ANW as we were on our way to dinner. We had to go back to the den and bug our roommate and ask to borrow hers to get ours and then bring hers back. Except she forgot hers too and we all had to ask the desk for 3 keys 🤣
I think it’s also good to just take a break from a piece, come back to it with a fresh perspective, and make any changes rather than finishing something in one go. So many pieces can be improved this way honestly
I miss when people fursuited for the love of it and being a character rather than just for low effort “content” to gain clout. So many cool fursuits and characters that feel so lifeless sometimes. I know people can do what they want with their fursuits but I do miss seeing people be a character

Daylight is nearly gone by the time I’m getting ready to work and it makes me feel like I wasted an entire day doing nothing.
My sleep schedule is way off these days. With my partner not getting home from work till about 3-4am we’re not going to bed until about 5am and waking up at 2pm. I’m really hating this type of schedule but I just don’t know how to fix it or if I just need to embrace it and have it be my new normal.

There should be a box you can tick that says something like “do not charge my card unless accepted”. It will still ask for your payment info but it shouldn’t charge you. It might show up as “pending” though if not accepted it’ll release.

Always. I feel like I am grieving what things used to be like. The kindness, patience, and empathy most had seems so hard to come by. Everyone feels so full of hate. Even furry sometimes feels cliquey, like dealing with high school bullies and drama. Every day it’s something in this world.
