You carved the loneliness out of me and filled it with warmth, with light. You have a name, a pretty one I say all the time, but from now on I think I’ll call you sunshine.

New York didn't change but maybe I did. Building after run-down building, crib after crib. Forgotten factories with missing windows and broken glass, enveloped in musty air— skeletons of the past. A juvenile soul with goals to lasso the moon; just me as your sketch under the scorching heat of June.
