One woman, then a model and college student in her early 20s living in Manhattan, said she attended four parties at the mansion. She cannot recall the names of most of the men she met at the gatherings, not even those Mr. Epstein directed her to β€œtake care of” at two of them. Recruited by Ms. Maxwell and then abused by Mr. Epstein, she buried her shame and kept their secrets for years. But Mr. Trump’s presence stood out, she told The Times. He was a household name, someone Mr. Epstein often bragged about to the women around him, yet also seemed to compete with.

β€œIt was like a pissing contest β€” who had the most women,” she recalled. She requested anonymity to describe her experiences in detail, saying she feared for her family’s safety after Mr. Trump said some of his critics could be executed for sedition.

I thought I was being a bit cheeky when I suggested The Herald gave their proposed advertising budget to the @edinfoodproject.bsky.social. So all credit to them for this big donation! Foodbanks shouldn't exist. Meantime, the EFP helps people in so many ways.

On her 100th birthday, there’s one lesson the left needs to learn from Thatcher to avoid disaster Progressive political parties need to find leaders who are able, as Margaret Thatcher once was, to change the political weather and usher in a new age of better lives for ordinary people

Friday's Scotsman column, on Margaret Thatcher's 100th anniversary. The sad recent history of the UK shows her to have been wrong about almost everything. But in an age of
failing politics, we now need leaders who can do as she did, in one crucial way....

6 tips on "What to do when information is scarce, falsehoods are rampant
and the story is still unfolding" 1 Mind the gap: Keep in mind that
there’s often a gap between what the public wants to know and the verified

to fill that gap. 2 Beware bad actors: Remember that bad actors often
capitalize on breaking news situations to spread falsehoods for easy likes and
shares. 3 Do a quick search: This is often your best defense against
misinformation. 4 Look for evidence: Claims that make bold assertions but
provide no links or other evidence should always be approached with caution. 5
Seek credible sources: Be intentional about looking for credible news and not
relying on social media algorithms to bring you updates. 6 Practice patience:

Reminders for following a breaking news story like the shooting of Charlie Kirk in Utah ‡️

⚠️ Bad actors & opportunists often use such moments when information is being gathered & fact-checked to recklessly push unverified claims & conspiracy theories.
