Definitely not.
@picchic
I’m mostly a photographer but I dabble in mixed media, alternative photo techniques, and whatever side quest comes along. I also was a forensic chemist half a lifetime ago. Any photos I post (other than reposts) are my own and copyright Elizabeth King.
Definitely not.
So in these days of avian influenza possibilities, when we recently had migratory birds passing through our area (and have plenty of local wild birds as well), wouldn't logical people think that loose chickens might be an issue? Our county's public health office didn't seem to care.
Is it just me or has anyone else been getting far more spam calls lately? I can't restrict my phone to only those in my contacts (unfortunately). But I've been getting multiple calls/day where I used to get maybe 2 or 3 a month. This started in June. Did the FTC say they were giving spam a pass?
YES, exactly.
I'd bet there's an artist who could do that (unless you can yourself - go for it). Gorilla art style. Several did things like that during Trump's first term. Brian Whitely was one, I think.
Wow, that's nuts! I hope you get it resolved quickly.
By “back where it belongs” I’m guessing he doesn’t mean back to the church where it should have stayed.
I'm usually "no log" but this one works. Because of the angle, it doesn't block the flow of how the eye moves through the image.
Deep roots are not reached by the frost
Same where I am.
The Rite Aid in my closest town also has food that people who live in the senior living building next door rely on. There’s a Dollar General in town, but almost half a mile from them. Walmart is 6 miles. Mass transit barely exists out here in rural-ish PA.
I use many of them, too. Maybe not many rolls, but at least a few have gone through every light tight camera I have.
I think so? I'd have to go dig it out, but since Agfa is in the shot, it's likely. I may or may not have more cameras than I can keep track of.
purple flowers with green foliage in the background. Some flowers are in focus and some not. Might be phlox?
I "volunteered" to talk about doing multiple exposures in camera for my club in June. So I was playing around a bit lately. This is a double exp. of the same plant with the focus and camera position slightly moved.
I’ve gotten a lot more spam calls as well. I wasn’t sure if it was just me.
Back in the 80s, when lots of makeup was kinda normal (like bright blue eyeshadow), I wore foundation. Since I was a teen, I was bad at choosing the right tone AND bad at applying it. I was still better at both than this.
She says biology isn't bigotry. Biology isn't binary!
Having done more than a few crime scenes in my old life... When you take an item, you're supposed to put it in a bag, tape the bag shut, and sign and date across the seal. And that was how we did it 20+ years ago, so it's not a new idea. We never took loose items without putting them in bags.
A photographer friend of mine posted a link to her photo critique site and got the same notice. Meta doesn't like when people post links to sites that don't track people ('cause then Meta doesn't make as much money). But it's all bots and ads.
Libby, Betsy, Betty, Eliza, Beth(e), Elizabeth, and I think one other. No Liz. And I added the e to Bethe.
My mom wanted to name me Beth, but both grandmothers said she couldn’t name me a nickname, so I’m also Elizabeth. I’ve always been called Beth except by 7th grade teachers who assumed Liz until I never answered to it. Elizabeth has been used in my ancestry a lot and with possibly every nickname.
🤑
This sucks. Plain and simple.
I've seen some of their posts on Facebook. Their posts are great and very informative, but man, the comments. 🫣 I have at least seen some bad comments refuted by people who obv. understand the subject, but it's painful to see how necessary it is. I'm afraid many people stillwon't believe the facts.
And no insignias saying MSP, local PD, ICE, or anything else that I saw. That isn't "normal." (as if this was normal in the beforetime)
I added digital in 2010 and never really "got" LR, so when they went subscription I started looking for other options. I still had an old PS that worked, but when it didn't, I switched to On1. The newest PS Elements has a three year auto-destruct built in. Guess I won't upgrade from the 2023 ver.
I'm curious (because I don't know water direction in the spot) about Sewickley Creek in Hunker between Buffalo Run and Belsen Run. One of those creeks nearly always stinks while driving by on New Stanton Ruffsdale Rd. Is that before or after the landfill? Great article, btw.
And they wanted me to move it all to Fidelity (it was at a competitor). They got copies of all my statements. No way should elected officials with the info access they have be allowed to control trades at all.
Ban trading, period. I was once married to someone who worked in IT for Fidelity. He only theoretically had access to what their funds were doing, yet I wasn't allowed to control my own investment account that I'd had since 10 years before I met DH #1. I had to move all of it to a managed account.
My hair is to my waist and pretty thick. We have well water (so low pressure anyway) and a low-flow shower head. I can thoroughly wash my (definitely thicker than his) hair in about 15 minutes - shampoo and conditioner.
