Date: June 09, 1942. Location: 21°21'12" N, 157°57'28" W. Event: Refloated on May 17, USN battleship West Virginia is entering dry dock of the Pearl Harbor Navy Yard for inspections and 3-month long initial repairs. Current status: Scrapped in 1961-62, lifespan of 42 years.

Date: May 05, 1920. Location: Sønderborg, Denmark. Event: Coastal defence ship Olfert Fischer of the Danish Navy arrives in Sønderborg with troops aboard after the city left Germany and joined Denmark as a result of a Schleswig plebiscite. Current status: Scrapped in 1937-38, lifespan of 38 years.
