After I’ve been a bit tough on them in the last 2 games, the squad and management deserve credit for a professional performance against Derby. Restricted them to 1 shot on target (the pen). Although we have a lot of new players, do we have the muscle memory to get us over the line that others lack?

We didn’t seem to get going until they scored. Too ponderous in build up letting them get back into shape. It’s odd to see Leif stop when he collects the ball before passing it back or sideways. Not having a pop at him, but it’s symptomatic of taking too long to get it forward. Hopefully a blip COYB
Question for the esteemed panel. Do we need permanent signings that may not be Premier League level or should we focus on loan signings that we may be able to secure should we get promoted, like we did with Omari? If we do go up we’ll need many new recruits in my view. Love the show 💙
If he’s not available then try and prise Marc Guiu from Chelsea on loan? Managerial change there may make that difficult and we need someone who can come in soon
Belated reply to Jules’ question to me. We need a no 9 who can hit the ground running. Joel Piroe is a proven finisher but likes to drop deep to get the ball like Akpom and probably won’t stretch defences. That said we need someone who can find the back of the net with all the chances we create
Even better than the home game. Greaves was a fantastic stand in for Leif, kept Sakamoto pinned back. Azon’s finishing a worry but he put a proper shift in. Clarke & Nunez classy and Furlong had Mason-Clark well and truly rattled. Against teams prepared to play football we’re at our best. 💙 the show

In fact the UK remains the 8th or 9th biggest manufacturer in the world. 10% of our GDP with some of the most advanced manufacturing anywhere.
