The roof will probably cave in by itself.
Grounded? Current?
Is this some kind of power move? It won’t phase many of your readers.
Just a matter of time before one of our more putinized Trumpers calls this a "special military operation"
Good to see some more Edel Rodriguez art. (I was sure he’d come across to BlueSky but I can’t find his account now.)
All the while the district court decision blocking the tariffs would be in place. He could ask for it to be stayed pending appeal, but based on the above, it shouldn’t be, given he has no chance of success on appeal.
A federal district court ruling against the tariffs should be sufficient. Trump would appeal it, the appeals court would point to the SCOTUS decision, and he would lose the appeal. He would then apply to SCOTUS and they would deny cert.
There’s a reason cassowaries are called prehistoric murder birds.
It’s just a variation on how to get a good answer to a question on the internet: post a bad answer and wait to be corrected.
Maybe the way to find them is to state your thesis and name it as “Roberts’ Theorem”, and wait for an expert or someone who knows that expert’s to respond that you’re just rewording someone else’s theorem — and there’s your expert!
I have no idea, but there must be someone out there who’s studying this idea or something similar. But I’m not even sure what area it would be: social psychology? Sociology?
Write a book on this, please! Or find an expert to interview for the podcast. This seems so spot on.
“… to get the quality stories you might want to read.”
Might not.
Musk advocates white monoculturalism
We must speak plainly about the agenda Elon Musk & other MAGA leaders are pushing. It’s white nationalism.
There’s no room for Black, Hispanic/Latino, Asian, Native, Jewish or all other Americans in Musk’s monocultural vision.
Multiculturalism is superior. We can’t allow Musk & others to end it.
There’s enough material here for a Jake Tapper book
Crossing climate tipping points "would lock the world into a new and hellish 'hothouse Earth' climate far worse than the 2-3C temperature rise the world is on track to reach."
Probably fine.
It’s hardly the founders’ fault given that the 25th Amendment was passed by Congress in 1965 and ratified in 1967.
Scott Morrison lovingly fondles a lump of coal while sitting in Australia’s House of Representatives chamber.
Once again, Australia has to apologise for something we’ve given you. First it was Rupert Murdoch, and now this.
A former politician we referred to as “Scotty from Marketing”, who was a big fan of Trump, promoted the idea of clean coal in Australia with a stunt in the Parliament 9 years ago.
Pretty much the most important thing happening in the world right now.

Trump administration removes rainbow flag from the birthplace of the modern LGBTQ civil rights movement
They’re people to you and me, but not to this Trump administration.

Margaret Kudelka is with Jon Kudelka and 2 others . Seonpotrdsm9g 5 4tf16gl m c5t15cch90t3ic9t97gmttlgc5tc1m8f 1 9a4m9 · We are sad to tell you that our beloved, brilliant Jon Kudelka died peacefully in South Hobart on Sunday afternoon, surrounded by his family and friends. He was 53. Jon was deeply loved and admired by many, including fellow Tasmanians, the legions of fans of his inimitable art, countless newspaper readers over 30 years, and even by the politicians he relentlessly skewered in his award-winning cartoons (many of whom have his work on their walls). He loved his family, friends, making art in many forms, and firmly calling out political and anti-science bullshit with his typically dry wit and compassion. Jon was diagnosed with glioblastoma in early 2024 and faced treatment for two years with positivity and hope, supported by his wife, Maggie, teenage children Kay and Oskar, sister Liesl, and his many friends. Jon believed in showing up fully for life and embracing humour even in the hardest of times. In the past two years, he was heard many times to say, ironically, “good times”. Jon’s presence remains in the love he gave and the lives he touched. He will always be with us. Funeral details to follow. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations in Jon’s memory to The Bob Brown Foundation, Canteen Australia or The Menzies Institute for Medical Research.
In the worst news, the great, the amazing, the wonderful @kudelka.bsky.social has died.
A great friend, and an amazing man.
This is shattering.
Photo of the windows next to my desk of the a framed Kudelka rusted on bingo tea towel and print of his Tassie devil.
Jon Kudelka was not just the creator of the best tea towel in Australian history, and a great cartoonist and artists, but he was a superb friend, incredible husband and dad.
Goddamn I will miss him
The world is so much poorer for not having Jon Kudelka in it
Maybe change your name to Whyte just in case
I have some bad news for you
I do like the free speech replies to Tapper’s post, wondering if anyone is going to write a book about Trump’s mental state.
Presumably the Secret Service were worried that it might be arsenic instead of spit.
Highlighting in yellow 🤣
