Oh honey, claymation ainβt an ear worm! Itβs amazing claymation.
MacArthur Park is a legit good song, my dude. Go to your room.
NOPE NOPE NOPE DON'T DO THAT JIM.
I love the fact that millions of people now have the song MacArthur Park stuck in their heads.

Let's make it clearer. This week's in-depth briefing from our volunteer collective at @unbreaking.org is on extraordinary acts of courage and decency by ordinary people fighting back against inhumane attacks on their neighbors.

I have a small (very, very small) collection of books my father filched from libraries in the 1970s.
Everything sucks. We are all overwhelmed. What can we do? Wellβ¦ we can help others. Letβs help some Brooklyn Park, Minnesota folks make their rent payments. We're going to clear the board, folks get their rent money, and itβs gonna feel amazing. Wins all around! www.gofundme.com/f/minnesota-...
Paging @annaleen.bsky.social
A million years ago I took a course on the history of modern design. Wonderful prof began on the first day talking about the social meaning of clothing, what we were wearing (jeans) and then announced "I, of course, am wearing a black turtleneck, the uniform of revolutionaries the world over."
If you are in NYC or can get there on March 21st, do not miss @queenesther.bsky.social's album release show at Joe's Pub/The Public. You will thank me. publictheater.org/performances...
Wonderful! (Somehow I missed that one in Dec.)
What a mensch and great teacher you are! Is there any way you can share some that info publicly? Absolutely invaluable, and it's not only the unpublished writing students who could use it. Raising my hand, for example, I've got books on the shelves but have no idea how to deal with lit mags.
TIMELINE CLEANSE
When's a time that a stranger helped you in an unexpected, maybe even small way?
Beautiful thread that prompted a memory of something that happened 30 years ago. I hope everyone has a story to share. And/or says hi to a stranger today.
My wallet was stolen and had been tossed in the gutter after thief took the cash. Stranger found it, contacted my credit card company to get it back to me. I met him on a corner with flowers. This was in NYC, not a small town. Years later I wrote a book about why people should talk to strangers.
