Flowering sea holly just growing right out of the sand. Bonkers. It is spiky and has blue-tinged pineconey sort of flowers. It's a desert-lizard sort of a plant, but it's hanging out on the east coast of the UK like a badass
A single, orange, 7-spot ladybird on a speckled grey and white pebble, in the sand
Sea holly; beach ladybird.

A feather, plainish brown on one side but with startling electric-blue bar stripes on the other
Four sheep in a churchyard. One is a whitish sort of a sheep with a black face. The others are a chocolatey brown and look a bit more rangy and goatlike. One has its paler bum towards the camera. The goaty sheep have horns. I'm not really up on sheep types. You may have noticed.
A sprinkle of green, speckled lentils in a white enamel cup. You can't tell, but the cup is a Celestine and the Hare mug.
Tall, leggy plants with bright yellow flowers which are all facing away from me and towards my neighbour's house wall. Still, they are very cheery beings and flower for ages and bees & hoverflies love them
Found my first ever jay feather.
Churchyard sheep.
My homegrown lentil harvest
Perennial sunflowers flowering.

A robin's pincushion in a bloominh wild rose
Wild roses with deep pink petals, a hoverfly in the centre of one
A tiny bee in a pale pink wild rose
An electric-blue damselfly resting on a leaf
Roses, roses, roses.
A tiny bee.
A bonus d
The hedges are glorious just now.

For years I read & enjoyed the books, but Rowling using their vast wealth & profile to fund transphobic legal actions & stoke hate, fear & misinformation means I will not separate the art from the artist.
That seems a bit OTT.
