I think the biggest damage to the art community was the obsolescence of gallery sites (y!, deviantart, etc) and the rise of scroll-by social media, like twitter and even tumblr. Art is not ''content'', you shouldnt need to post art every day (or every month!) to be relevant. This mindset sucks.

A row of outfit designs for Abigail, my OC. Her hair is blonde and cut short in two of the images. The outfits reflect modern fashion with the exception of the rightmost drawing, where she is adorned in a blue-grey gown with golden jewellery. In all of the pictures, she either wears a veil or a mask to cover her face.
If you're going to be the stereotypical princess captured by the dragon, do it differently. Spend the dragon's net worth on fancy clothes. Cover your face so it can't use your likeness to sell products to the villagers. Etc Etc

seen a lot of webcomic and personal sites using imgur to host extra images for some reason - imgur is completely blocked in the uk! your sites are full of massive "YOU CANT ACCESS THIS CONTENT IN YOUR REGION" banners! please upload any extra layout images locally!!!

Finally took the leap - saved whatever work I had left on my twitter and Instagram and I'm in the process of deleting both permanently. All my art has been removed from both accounts
