Does this doctor not understand what “was a key motivating factor” means?

I’m looking forward to watching Murderbot though it’s a TV show. It just wants to be left alone to watch TV. We need more stories like this because clearly the “don’t fuck with tech” message really isn’t getting through, people decided that means “fuck with tech” (wink wink).

My next steps will be focused on going through the report, moving location, & looking into treatments & government help. But I want 2 state that while there are difficulties, a lot of things could be managed better if we looked after disabled people as we should be. Society is broken, I’m not. (4/4)

I’m lucky because I’ve got a super supportive husband, his mum & wonderful friends. I can’t imagine what it would be like going through this process without help. I also had a brilliant neurodivergent therapist from Neudle. There’s no time 2 discuss treatments, it’s all focused on diagnosis. (3/4)

I had 2 do diagnosis over 4 months due to finance & lack of spoons. It’s an expensive & rigorous process & I’m confident that it was correct. I hate that it had 2 happen during really bad autistic burnout but I probably would have burned out my brain and body if I’d had to keep going as I was. (2/4)

Well I’ve come out of the other end of diagnosis for suspected autism and ADHD, CPTSD and OCD with Autism, ADHD, CPTSD and OCD. Nothing was really that shocking, I saw these things myself but it’s nice that a professional acknowledged it. Self diagnosis is valid 100%. (1/4)

It’s true we have very active brains and nutrition makes a huge difference. Keto and intermittent fasting can work great for neurodivergent folks… but they don’t remove ADHD 😂.

So, for what it's worth: I don't think AI is taking over jobs because it's better than people or even good at its job. I think it's taking over jobs because it's cheaper than people and bosses like cheap and aren't necessarily aware of the (very high) risk of bad, dangerous quality output (7/7)

Seems like a good bill

The problem is that hate speech doesn’t include religion, only race, probably because religion is a choice and we’re still a conservative nation, favouring Christianity. So they get away with the old racist dog whistle of targeting jews or muslims etc but saying it’s not about race so nobody cares.

All they have to do is strengthen the laws to include religion under hate speech but be specific about it so religions don’t get away with bullshit. Anti-discrimination should include any discrimination, not just the ones we feel a little bad about like race.

I haven’t read the study but as an autistic person I can tell you mirroring emotions convincingly isn’t impossible. But just like you will probably be able to guess I’m mirroring and not feeling, the same thing could be said about AI. Bots don’t have anxiety, they have learned expected responses.
