saying it’s just for kids is a cop out, and honestly, I feel like you can write for adults and the kids will come along. But you need to write accurately to the given situation. I’m sorry, but the Jedi has presented here don’t match with the way they’ve been to constructed within the mythos.

all that just cuz its cool and they can drop a little Vader light motive because Anakin did “the wrong thing”. Even though, Anakin probably wouldn’t do that. He would’ve just disarmed the guy. I don’t know, I love the series sometimes but then also I feel like it’s so ham-fisted in it’s writing.

then they go one step further, and when backed into a corner and disarmed, the turncoat presents Obi-Wan and Satine with a moral and ethical dilemma around of politics vs passivism. Anakin steps in and sabers the guy from behind, rather than strip the detonator with the force or cut his hand off.

Dude yank the detonator, break the hand with a gun and strip it. All with the power of your mind. The idea that people can hold a Jedi at bay with threats like this makes no sense. It’s like they heard Lucas say this stuff is based on westerns and samurai film but don't know what that means.

for instance, in S02E13, Obi-Wan face is down a separatist traitor who hold the Mandalorian Duchess, Satine hostage. He has a detonator in his hand they keep Obi at bay, and has gun held to satine. The fact that Obi-Wan never uses the force to flip the script on this situation is ridiculous.

The Jedi are never as bad ass as they should be. And they make weird choices when it comes to how they deal with situations. Like I feel this way because I’ve played so much Jedi Fallen Order and Survivor that there are things that would just make sense for a Jedi to do in a given situation.

There is this thing I have noticed when watching the 3D Clone Wars series that kind of bothers me. The writers breach on brilliance at times, but they can never seem to go all the way. Especially when compared to the original shorts that were produced when the prequels were still being released.

you’d actually be surprised, during that time I remember reading all of these magazines and interviews with her, and there were a lot of people who were fans who did not know who Bowie was or any of the glam rock scenw. That’s what got me kind of irritated about it. I’m like feed the children.

Gaga did that same stuff with Bowie and it drove me crazy. Her little monsters weren’t running out and buying Aladdin Sane. I think she had an excuse earlier on. She was too niche att for Bowie to work with, tbh I think he would have because he knows what's up. But that’s not the same here.

He's big enough, he could get James to work with him and it would be a big deal. Plus it would introduce LCD a lot of people to that music. Whereas saying it in a few interviews doesn’t necessarily lead to folks actually starting to listening to LCD, the DFA, and electro. Just saying is all.

I find that to be a little frustrating. Because while you are inspired by the work, you could also... oh I don’t know... work with the guy. He is a podducer you know. I actually like Harry, but dude, when people are alive, you should be working with them and taking advantage of time and space.

yeah, that’s what he says. He was inspired by Daddy James after seeing him at several festivals. Which seems a little strange to me because that’s like the third wave of LCD Soundsystem. Which means you weren’t really watching or paying attention when they were actually doing huge stuff.

I mean, just smooth the original concept ideas for Shifter , the ones that they couldn’t do because of hardware realities of the day could be really neat. The idea of being able to inhabit any character and take them over is a really cool concept. It just wasn’t possible in the late 90s.

I just think there’s been so much advancement and new things that have been done in gaming since it came out that we really could be exploring new play territory. There’s just so much you could do with the concept in the story and the world. Traversal and shifting realms could so boldy expanded.

It definitely needs an remake or legit a new entry. If they do the same touch as Tomb Raider we'd be in good shape.
