Most of the measures that the Founding Fathers saw as illegitimate ‘taxes’ were in fact import tariffs. Their demand was ‘no tariffs’. Framers’ intent matters in legal arguments? And the burden of Trump II’s measures is about 8x more harsh than the burden that sparked a revolution 250 yrs ago.

Harming the US economy through inefficient and inequitable taxation, thrashing the rule of law, reducing the price ofUS$, and increasing isolation of the US economically and politically … this does not add up to ‘imperialism.’ Trump enables Putin’s imperialism.

Good piece on need to implement #OneHealth approaches in 2025, from @CSIS 👇🏻.
According to @WBG_IDA (2012), #OneHealth approach to #pandemic risk reduction is #efficient &effective - and far more so than governments’ practices to date.
Same results for ⬇️risk of #AMR.

Outbreaks are inevitable, but pandemics (and panzootics) are optional. Core veterinary and human public-health capacities are required to detect contagion early, diagnose it correctly, and control it effectively.
By far the highest ROI, using #OneHealth approaches ⬇️
