Ariel is like the solar wind; she carves her own path across the cosmic sea, and her wanderlust burns brighter than any star drive. A veteran space corsair in command of the ship "Void Siren," Ariel wears an ancient captain's hat perpetually perched on her head. While technically a Mercenary, unlike most in the war-torn tapestry of 2450, Ariel isn't fully loyal to any faction. The Terrans' rigid militarism rubs her the wrong way, while the Beasts, with their connection to nature, resonate deeply. No surprise then, that her first mate is a hulking, razor-sharp polar bear humanoid. Mechs, however? Not a chance, their artificial minds make her uneasy. As for the mysterious Ancients, they're just a space legend, aren't they?
While her past is shrouded in mystery, Ariel's charming exterior hides a powerful secret. Unbeknownst to her, Ariel manipulates chance itself, an ability she has had for as long as she can remember. It's not skill or cunning that keeps her alive on the most dangerous missions or her rickety ship, the Void Siren, afloat on daring expeditions; it's pure, unadulterated luck. This invisible hand has pulled her out of scrapes and guided her to hidden bounties countless times! Unlike most other humans, Ariel doesn't hate the Vorx. She has tried several times to communicate with them, with some success, and she thinks that their relentless drive to conquer is forced upon them by their leaders, the ominous Eyes of Vorx. Kill the masters, and the other Vorx will surely want to find a way to cohabitate in the galaxy.
For our final (so far) hero spotlight, we have the paradox that is Ariel, a free spirit thriving in a time of cosmic war, a pirate with a heart of (mostly) gold. An accidental hero whose outrageous good fortune might just tip the scales in the fight against the Vorx.

Warhog, also known as 'The Boogeyman,' is the galaxy’s most notorious bounty hunter and combat pilot. Cold and composed, with a fondness for dark humor, he thrives in the chaos of mayhem and carnage. His communication is marked by bone-chilling one-liners that make even the toughest outlaws shiver.
This formidable mercenary typically only kills for a bounty, with one exception: the Vorx, towards whom he harbors a burning hatred. This deep-seated animosity makes him an unofficial but crucial ally to the Galactic Alliance. The origin of this hatred remains a mystery, but it must stem from something profound to drive such explosive anger in this cold-blooded killer. Warhog’s personal ship, the 'Carnage,' is as notorious as its owner. Equipped with an arsenal that would make a warlord blush, this ship serves both as his home and his primary means of dispensing his own brand of justice. Despite his fearsome reputation, Warhog is somewhat of a cult hero, especially in the darker corners of space. Stories of his exploits are told with a mix of horror and awe, cementing his status as the boogeyman - a constant reminder to the galaxy's underbelly that there’s always someone crazier out there.
Our latest hero in the hot seat is Warhog, the galaxy's most notorious bounty hunter and combat pilot, thrives in the whirlwind of mayhem and carnage.
Interestingly, Warhog is strangely one of our less intense heroes to get to know. (We're looking at you, Rampage.)

The first of two patches have rolled out to fix the Tournament scoring issue. This means that the perks for the Acrobatic Boots, Bowmaster Boots, Vampyr Armor, and Bowmaster Armor are back! Thanks for your patience! We have another smaller one covering the final two bracelets soon.
In the meantime, we had to temporarily turn off some item perks as they were the cause behind the shenanigans. The items include:

Synthia is an advanced combat cyborg from the Mech faction, created on the planet Automata as a hybrid of human intuition and mechanical precision. Her unpredictability always set her apart from her deterministic AI peers, making her an outsider within her group. The exception was her cyborg "sister," Binary, who was created from the same batch but programmed to be a military strategist. Synthia and Binary were like fire and ice: one was all passion and strength, while the other was meticulous and calculating. While Binary pursued her designated role, Synthia struggled to find her place in Mech society, eventually finding her calling in the Ultimate Galactic Fighting rings on Automata. Her enhanced Cyber Senses allowed her to perceive combat in slow motion, earning her the nickname "Bullet Time" and a reputation among enhanced fighters.
However, Synthia's plans to escape to safety were upended when the Vorx invaded Automata and captured Binary, forcing her to aid the enemy's military. Driven by a fierce loyalty to her sister rather than to her Faction, Synthia rallied her fellow fighters to join the resistance. Together, they formed a formidable force in the battle for Automata's liberation. Determined and relentless, Synthia won't rest until she frees Binary, no matter how many Vorx she has to tear apart to achieve her goal.
