Itβs an ICE staging center that told its queer and Black customers to go fuck themselves.
I haven't listened yet. It probably would have been OK but I didn't want to risk it when I saw it in the queue yesterday.
The real test for if you're over a breakup is if you can listen to "Good Things" without crying
Every major disaster in this country over my lifetime has been self inflicted by right wing ideologues with just enough complicit or inert Democrats to enable or ratify them. That's why we've been on this doom trajectory for the last ~50 years and it'll keep getting worse if that doesn't change

AI is being trained on/by its prompts, but people are not using their best language when prompting. I genuinely wonder if the companies are considering this?

I don't think they will be using Ubers. I think they will still drive. I am less concerned about them than everyone else on the road, who they might hit.
Maybe we shouldn't have created a nation so incredibly car-dependent! Especially as science has allowed people to live longer (...than their eyes & brains work).
In total, six of the Timesβ nine front-page articles about trans issues wove narratives of transition being risky, likely to be regretted, or prematurely forced onto unwitting youth (9/26/22, 11/22/22, 1/23/23), and/or of trans people threatening othersβ rights, such as those of cisgender women and parents (5/29/22, 6/9/22, 7/21/22, 1/23/23). These six articles also consumed far more space in the paper than the other three, averaging 2,826 words versus 1,636, suggesting which kinds of stories about trans people the paper believes are most worthy of deep investigation.
FAIR published a detailed look at the NYT's trans coverage a couple of years ago, showing that the NYT's coverage of trans issues is unbalanced and usually implicitly includes a right-wing framing.
